Opportunities are available for outstanding Registered Nurses and Senior Registered Nurses to join our established, luxury Nursing Home, within Sutton Coldfield. Wyndley Grange Nursing Home is located in a beautiful lakeside setting on the edge of Sutton Park. Sutton Town Centre is within walking distance, and offers excellent transport links by bus and train. Successful Registered Nurses will earn £15.18 to £16.17 per hour dependant on experience. Full time and part time night positions will be considered, but predominantly looking at cover for Night Shifts. As a Senior Registered Nurse , you will maintain exceptional standards of clinical practice and ensure all residents receive a high standard of care. You will also; Act as a role model and mentor alongside less experienced nursing staff, providing clinical leadership and support. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with sensitive situations effectively. Manage the clinical area safely and efficiently, and ensure the caring culture expected of nursing staff is consistently maintained and upheld. In addition, you will have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience, preferably within an older person setting and possess the following skills and experience: Level 1 Registered Nurse on the live NMC Register (Adult Branch) Teaching and Mentor Qualification/ENB 998 or equivalent Ideally you will have evidence of higher education qualification e.g. BSc An up to date knowledge of clinical practice, and training in areas such as infection prevention and control, risk management and complaints Strong organisational and planning skills, and experience of leading a team As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered to all residents, and that their physical, psychological, emotional and social care needs are met. You will also; Act as a role model to all Care Assistants, providing support and supervision in clinical practice to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure a seamless provision of care. Ensure the caring culture expected of nursing staff is consistently maintained and upheld.
