Programme Management Office Manager / PMO Programme Management Office Manager / PMO required for my Tamworth based client, to support a major transformation portfolio. This is a permanent position, paying up to £50,000. The PMO Manager will be responsible for embedding best practice processes, and providing appropriate management controls to ensure that the portfolio is governed effectively and successfully delivers to the business strategy and vision. They will manage the activity required to enable the portfolio to support execution of the business strategy and delivery of sustainable change, in line with the company's ways of working. Key responsibilities: - Help to train, coach and embed the Programme, Project & Change methodologies, processes, toolkits and templates - Ensure consistent application of the standard ways of working across the end-to-end delivery of programmes and projects within the portfolio, so that lasting change is delivered effectively and efficiently - Provide support, direction and challenge to programmes and projects and develop programme, project and change management capability both within the business change function and across the wider business to improve project delivery performance - Support the design of governance structures for the portfolio, ensuring governance is simple and flexible whilst enabling the right level of decision making and control. Organise and facilitate portfolio-level governance forums as appropriate - Co-ordinate resource and capacity planning across the portfolio in conjunction with transformation delivery - Administer portfolio office budgets including raising purchase orders, receipting invoices and supporting financial reconciliation activity - Contracts administration - archive and track commercial contracts with external suppliers - Coordinate and support status reporting and other portfolio/programme reporting within Programme, Portfolio and Business Unit - Plan and execute communication to stakeholders around the portfolio status - Undertake auditing and health checks on projects and programmes within the portfolio - Lead & develop direct reports, including co-ordination of training so that they are inspired, realise their potential & deliver superior performance in supporting the delivery of change within the Business Unit or Function Required Skills/Qualifications - 3 years' experience of PMO Management, supporting major transformation programmes - Proven record of successful programme and change management of complex programme - Experienced in balancing conflicting workload and timescales - Evidence and detailed knowledge of programme and change management frameworks and the tools to support it - Proficient in Microsoft applications - Word, Excel . PowerPoint , MS project - Clear confident and engaging communication skills - Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to interact at all levels - Highly organised This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience PMO Manager to join a dynamic organisation currently going through a huge transformation programme.
