Deputy LD Manager - Complex Care - Walsall - £22k Our high quality care client is looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager who has a good background within the LD/Complex Care & Autism sector. Our client is a highly regarded expanding national supported living care provider and this role is for a brand new exciting complex in the Walsall area due to be operational later in the year. You will need to be qualified to at least NVQ 3 level or above, have excellent communication skills, strong leadership and management skills and have a passion for delivering high standards of care for clients and the ability to manage, supervise, and support your staff and to develop potential in all staff. You will need to be flexible and able to cover some on call duties occasionally although you will be overseeing on call covered by senior care staff mainly. You will need to have good staff recruitment experience and staff supervision experience, holding team meetings, experience of staff planning and staff rota's, monitoring and mentoring staff ensuring quality care is delivered at all times. Good IT skills are required and you will need to be organised, motivated and have a positive enthusiastic approach to your work as well as being approachable and have a cheerful character who is supportive and who values staff. Experience of new referrals, assessments and screening is also required, knowledge of the area is also helpful with this position as you will be communicating with local care managers, NHS and GP services, external agencies, colleagues and families. Excellent knowledge of the CQC regs is required as this is a senior role and you will be deputising for the Registered manager on occasions. Experience with dealing with funding sources, agencies and assisting management in relation to strategic planning and development and the establishment of company policies and procedures.
