Mechanical Assembly Fitter - Special Machines Company is based in Staffordshire Normal Working Hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday Company Information Rapidly expanding specialist machine build and service engineering business based in Staffordshire. Working across multiple sectors including Plastics, Powder coating, Pharmaceutical and Food, the business is an award winner with a first class reputation around the world. This role will start initially working alongside workshop engineers to learn and understand every aspect of the build process, advancing into accompanied site visits in front of customer with experienced engineers before developing your own client /project lists in an autonomous role. The company is seeking applications from engineering candidates who can display experience of: -Mechanical assembly/fitting -Ability to read complex technical drawings -Ability to follow specific work instructions with accuracy -Extruder`s, conveyors, cooling, compressors -Strip down and refurb of complex machines -Pre-delivery testing -Installation and commissioning -Fault diagnosis -Breakdown repairs -Modification and upgrades -Working on Siemens machinery and compressors The ideal candidate will be a time served/apprentice trained mechanically biased engineer who can also display the ability to work safely with electrical elements of the role. The role will be 80% mechanical and 20% Electrical fitting to include bearings, seals, guards, brackets, hoses, motors and pumps etc.
