More about the MHE Trainer Nights role

As our MHE Trainer you will be reporting into the Recruitment & Training Manager you will be part of the training team which sits in People & Development. The training team support the business across all locations. Delivering training at every level and working with managers to provide bespoke packages for individual roles as well as companywide training and induction.

Here's what you can expect to be doing

Our MHE Trainer Nights will support the whole operation by providing a comprehensive training programme to ensure that all our people are safe and certified. Delivering operational training across all departments and be the part of the team that deals with company-wide training issues.  Working with the quality team when opportunities for improvement are identified in the operation and writing and delivering supporting material.

Our HME Trainer will be one of the team of trainers and be RTITB / ITSSAR registered, delivering full FLT training, upskilling and operational training within all areas of the business.

What will I be expected to deliver?

- Facilitate & deliver operational training

- Evaluate and accurately audit the operational processes as required and ensure work is of an agreed standard

- Responsible for delivering inductions to new employees in line with company policy and health and safety

- Responsible for ensuring that all new and existing employees are fully trained in line with company policy and health and safety including MHE, FLT & VNA

- Writing training manuals and ensuring these are delivered effectively

You will be a confident communicator and be able to deliver a varied training programme to a diverse learning audience. Having the ability to question and contribute to improving the operation you will be smart and driven and uphold our values.

Skills and Experience needed to become our MHE Trainer Nights

You will have a good knowledge of training methods and how to measure it’s effectiveness. Preferably gaining your experience within the warehousing and logistics industry you will be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of legislation and regulations which govern the sector.  You will be able to produce documentation in line with legislation and any supporting training material.

- Able to advice on best practice for the use of both FLT & VNA and show competency in delivering training to inexperienced team members

- Hold an RTITB or ITSSAR training qualification

- PTTLS would be an advantage but not essential
