We are recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of our clients based in Lozzells. As an Administrator you are responsible for providing a Provision of full clerical and general non-teaching support to the Children's Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities of an Administrator

- Substantial data entry onto our ICT monitoring system (CCM) and retrieval of information together with collation of reports
- General administrative duties including photocopying, faxing, word processing etc.
- Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone calls and signing in visitors
- Dealing with enquiries from staff, parents, etc.
- To set an example of personal integrity and professionalism
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection/safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
- Any other duties as commensurate within the grade in order to ensure the smooth running of the centre
- Preparation and maintenance of files and pupil records

- Location: Lozzells
- GBP8.25per Hour
- Hours: 3 Days Per Week
- Temporary to Permanent

Skills and Experience of an Administrator

- Extensive knowledge of ICT systems - Word / Outlook / Excel.
- Knowledge of Children's Centre databases (currently CCM) would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A high level of ICT and data entry competency.
- Able to communicate with other members of staff and work as part of a team.
- Ability to provide a welcoming presence, in person or by telephone for families and visitors.
- Flexible approach/attitude.
- Able to deal with emergency situations.
- Ability to accept and carry out instructions from the Children's Centre Manager/Senior Leadership Team Worker as appropriate.
