About The Role

You will help build the reputation of the Hippodrome by providing first class administrative support to our Business Development department. This will involve helping with event bookings by confirming details with customers, updating our systems and maintaining internal communications to ensure clients enjoy a stress free experience. Whether responding to enquiries and dealing with correspondence or updating electronic filing and helping with competitive analysis you will play a key role in meeting business targets. You will also administer event invoicing in an accurate and timely manner. Important too will be the ability to identify opportunities to enhance the customer offer by communicating our full product range to clients.

You must have worked in an events department and been involved administering event delivery. This will have given you experience of working closely with hospitality and catering teams too. You will have strong keyboard skills as well as a good understanding of standard MS software packages, conference booking, resource management and/or ticketing software. Experience of using Artifax or Tessitura would be highly valuable. Numerate, you must have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong customer focus. Happy dealing with differing audiences and overseeing multiple projects you will have an eye for detail and a 'can-do' attitude.
