Additional Information for the Primary Teacher, Year 3 role:

The lovely head teacher of this two-form entry primary school is looking to recruit a dedicated and committed Primary teacher who is able to teach Year 3 to a high standard. The post is initially to cover the maternity leave of another member of staff, however the head teacher has assured that the role has the potential to become permanent should you wish for this to happen the following year. Ideally you must have at least two year's teaching experience due to the role coming with a TLR2 payment up to GBP6,197 in additional salary with the additional responsibility of managing English. The role is paid directly by the school at a salary between GBP26,192 up to GBP38,250 dependent on previous experience.

The role is open to an experienced KS2 Teacher who has is wanting to secure a role alongside a supportive and cohesive KS2 team. If you have experience as a KS1 teacher you are also welcome to apply as this role is within Year 3 and is open to committed KS1 or KS2 teachers.

Located close to the Stechford area of Birmingham, this two-form entry primary school is larger than average and has a high proportion of disadvantaged learners, so a desire to teach children from low-socio economic backgrounds is essential. Ideally you will be the type of teacher who is driven to end educational inequality. The majority of learners are from ethnic minority backgrounds and over 75% of children speak English as an additional language. The school is successful in supporting learners from all backgrounds and abilities, in recent years the school has consistently met government floor standards.
