- Act as the point of technical support for all works involving data cabling and server installations.
- Attend surveys and site meetings to define the scope and specification of works in order that quotes can be issued and works can be booked.
- As a lead for the cabling engineering team, ensuring that they are competent, trained and supported to deliver a cost effective and quality driven service.
- Act as the point of escalation for any technical queries that arise before, during or after installations

- A natural organiser who understands both their own and their teams plans for delivery, proactively setting robust process paths and methods
- Able to write clear controlled documentation and keep relevant via review and continuous improvement
- Clear and concise communicator
- Ability to drive positive change with continuous improvement embedded within this change
- Can clearly demonstrate key leadership skills, including the confidence to challenge the status quo

Required Experience

- Extensive supervisory or management experience of a project environment desirable
- Fully familiar with finance processes; including costing, invoicing, financial tracking
- Can demonstrate experience of driving positive change within a similar environment
- Evidence of management experience, control and leadership of small to medium teams
- Exposure formal methodologies such as ITIL or Prince2 would be an advantage but not essential

This role is ideal for a cabling engineer that wishes to make their first steps into Project Management.
