Care Team Leader - Quinton
£19,595 - £23,948 a year - Permanent

Full Time 37.5 hours per week (including some weekends)

Location: William Lench Court - Quinton

Lench's Trust is an independent provider of Home (Domiciliary) Care to people living at home, in an Extra Care scheme. Our passion and focus is for providing high-quality person-centred care, treating all our residents with dignity and respect, and ensuring their safety, health, and well-being. We are looking for a positive and approachable individual to run our busy, growing home care team.

The role will involve: - Ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to all clients- Recruiting and managing the care coordinators- Engaging and building relationships and making sure the care service is cooperating with CQC regulations

  • You will be responsible for creating and managing the Weekly rotas
  • Taking on new work
  • Quality monitoring of the service
  • Be the first point of call for any queries or support required
  • Supervising the care workers
  • Liaising with Social Workers, District Nurses, Doctors and family members
  • Ensure carers deliver a consistently high quality of service to clients
  • Effective care planning, setting up new care packages and attending reviews
  • Undertaking Risk assessments
  • On call duties when required

  • At least one year of previous management experience
  • Have NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Wish to make a difference and help others
  • Are patient, approachable, compassionate & reliable
  • Are able to work within and lead a team
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Are over 18 years of age (due to legal restrictions in relation to giving personal care)

Required experience: Care management: 1 year

Required language: English (Spoken & Written)

Required licences or certifications: NVQ Level 3 in Social Care
