KS2 Teacher - School Information:

Set in the inner-city area of Bordesley, East of Birmingham city centre, this school has a high proportion of disadvantaged learners so the ideal KS2 teacher for this role will be someone who is passionate about ending educational inequality, determined to provide a high-quality education to all students! This school is larger than average and accommodates three classes per year group so you will never be short of year group support and advice. Each year group holds a weekly meeting whereby they plan and organise resources for the following week. This ensures collaboration and cohesion amongst year group staff and for NQT's it ensures you have the opportunity to continue developing your practice with the support of your team.

The school has excellent training and CPD opportunities, for experienced teachers who are looking to progress there is great potential for you here to achieve your goals with a TLR potentially available for the right candidate. For NQT's or those who may have recently qualified you will have opportunities to go to bespoke CPD events, you will also be allocated a mentor who is within your year group and is an outstanding practitioner.

The majority of learners are from a range of diverse heritage and ethnicities. The proportion of learners who speak English as an additional language is well above national average also. This is a great school to work in as a KS2 teacher who enjoys working within an inner-city, diverse and exciting primary school. Ideally you will be the type of KS2 teacher who has a passion to provide a first class education to students who attend an inner-city school and are predominantly from a low-socio economic background. If you have the mind-set which is determined and focused to end educational inequality then this head teacher would love to meet you!
