Export Control Manager Rotatives
As an Export Control Manager - Rotatives you will have a chance to join the export control team in Derby and to provide knowledge, guidance and advice on export control legislation and procedures to enable the organisation to make sound strategic business decisions. You will also establish and maintain arrangements necessary to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. We deliver the best jet engines in the world. Key Accountabilities - Monitor and keep up-to-date with the export regulations of all countries with which the organisation conducts business. - Liaise with other export control personnel to develop an understanding of the impact of export regulations on the business and on the company as a whole. - Identify opportunities to influence export legislation and implementation and work with the Heads of Export Control and the Director, Strategic Export Control to provide expertise to the legislative process. - Develop an organisational understanding of and adherence to export control regulations. - Develop and implement strategies for export control compliance in line with the needs of the organisation and corporate export control compliance policies. - Develop and provide general and organisation-specific training and communication on export control. - Determine which export authorisations the organisation requires for its exports, prepare and submit applications, and ensure that processes are in place to comply with the provisions of the authorisation. - Lead or participate in Integrated Project Teams across all functions and all geographical locations addressing export control issues. - Manage any staff allocated to them. Qualifications - Specialist knowledge of relevant export regulations. - Ability to analyse complex business situations and to advise on the impact of export control regulations. - Ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical processes for export control compliance.
