Robert Half have been appointed to work with a prestigious business in Birmingham, to appoint a Corporate Finance Manager. The role will be based in central Birmingham and you will be working for large and well established practice, the candidate will need to be flexible on travel. This position will liaise directly with the Director and /or Partner in the team in delivering work of exceptional quality and insight.

The main responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Manager are:
  • Lead advise on a wide range of private equity CF transactions, MBO, MBI, fund raising, sales mandates, M&A and broking & development strategy
  • Advising on the structure and approach to all leveraged transactions
  • Planning and review of business plans, information memorandums
  • Advise and support in the preparation of finance models
  • Supporting and guiding on buyer research, sector research and market analysis
  • Help run inter office CF network to facilitate interoffice deal sharing and deal knowledge
  • Liaise and work together with office Marketing team to integrate services and promotions as much as possible
  • To help raise the profile of the profile of the local CF team
  • Monitor local press to target new business
  • BD responsibilities and networking


To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Two years plus of dedicated lead advisory experience
  • Deal sizes between GBP5 & GBP25m an advantage, lager deals relevant as well
  • Good range of Proposal experience in the private equity arena for VC's and large corporate
  • Some sector specialism and network contacts in differing areas
  • Focused knowledge of chosen markets to target businesses and leverage off knowledge gained from sector research
  • High level financial modelling, ideally in excel
  • Data base design and control for reciprocity database
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client empathy


Ability to manage a number of transactions under pressure

This position will be paying a Very competitive salary based in Birmingham City Centre along with pension and Health care.
