Legal Administrator - Birmingham City Centre

Well Established Law Firm - GBP15k to GBP18k

You will work as part of a team to provide administrative support to help their legal teams deliver great service to their clients.

Your key duties will be:

having responsibility for file maintenance to given auditing standards

maintaining the system of the overnight document storage, cheque book and archiving

opening and closing files in one of our case management systems, including ledger balances, and assisting with accounting

attending as a witness in client meetings and visits

providing telephone cover, as necessary

organising stationary orders and requests

providing routine administration correspondence

preparing and maintaining data and spreadsheets

photocopying, filing and account balancing

processing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers

having overall responsibility for office and desk space to given

auditing standards

Skills and experience you will have:

a minimum grade C pass at GCSE (or equivalent) in English

Language and Mathematics

confidence with IT systems to include Microsoft Word and Excel

a good basic keyboard and typing ability

some previous office administrative experience is ideal
