P/T Administrator - Transport Office

Bordon, Hampshire - £10.50 p.h

Hours 10:00 - 14:00

(The Company can be flexible on start time and there will be an opportunity for overtime in busy periods)

Our client provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features.

They are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join their team based in Bordon

The role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Office Administrator with knowledge within a transport organisation. Your key area of responsibility will be administrative support to primarily the Depot Manager and also to provide support to the Operations Manager and the Directors where required. The ideal candidate will be flexible and committed to delivering and maintaining exceptionally high standards of work in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Main Duties:

  • Answer calls and divert accordingly
  • Greet visitors and direct to staff they are meeting
  • Incoming and outgoing post management
  • Issuing and updating the Purchase Order Log/reconciling invoices
  • Updating the Attendance Log
  • Key entry
  • Note taking
  • Updating company Dashboards
  • Updating Syrinx inspection/defect reporting system
  • Briefing / Debriefing Drivers
  • Working alongside Depot Manager to ensure compliance in driving and H&S is met
  • Liaise with garages re. repairs / MOTs
  • Ad hoc duties

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work alone and within a team
  • Ability to multi task efficiently within a dynamic and fast paced transport environment

The ideal Office Administrator must be enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to multi task. You must have strong organisational skills, with at least 2 years administrative experience and be proactive in your approach to work.
