Our client is a sub-contract manufacturing and assembly business with factories in China and Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Distribution in Telford.

They currently have a position within their sales department for a sales professional responsible for new business development throughout the UK.

Ideally, a proven track record of selling engineered components, from disciplines such as sheet metal work, laser cutting, punching, presswork, turned and machined parts, pressings, injection mouldings and die-casting into a wide range of OEM manufacturing industries would be preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generation of new sales leads, enquiries
- Professional generation of new business
- Customer Contracts and Manufacturing Agreements
- Customer point of contact
- Follow through of quotations and tenders
- Responsibility for maintaining set sales targets and appointment ratios
- Identify new markets and potentials
- Reporting to the Sales Director
- Both office and field based as necessary
- UK travel required
- Generate own leads and secure suitable quality appointments
- Work within and contribute effectively to an established team framework
