This established, successful and rapidly expanding interiors installation specialist is currently seeking a Sales & Business Development professional to spearhead their new business activities and initiatives from their Midlands based HQ. The role will suit an experienced sales professional with a demonstrable track record of success in a technical and consultative role, managing project sales within the construction and specialist sub-contracting sector. Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will be to identify and successfully convert new business opportunities, while simultaneously developing relationships with existing customers and maximising additional sales avenues. Key responsibilities will include: · Identifying and converting new business and sales opportunities throughout the Midlands / North West · Developing existing customer relationships in order to maximise revenues · Conducting customer reviews and contract deliverables · Account management and query resolution · Preparing presentations and proposals · Progress reporting · Budgeting and forecasting · Ongoing development of your market and competitor knowledge · Attending site/project and customer meetings · Attending industry conferences, events and other functions With an appropriate background and track record of sales achievement, you’ll have managed a territory selling to the construction sector and be comfortable in a technical / consultative based business development role. You’ll possess strong organisational skills and a good technical aptitude, able to read and understand technical specifications in relation to your associated business development capacity. Numerate, with strong MS Office skills (Word and Excel etc.) and a keen eye for detail, you’ll be experienced with project management and be thorough when it comes to your reporting, record keeping and overall administration. A full and valid UK/EU drivers licence is essential, as is a willingness to travel throughout the UK when required. On offer in return is a negotiable basic starting salary (subject to experience and track record), along with a car allowance, expenses, pension, 23 days annual holiday entitlement (plus statutory bank holidays) and uncapped commission.
