Pattonair have an exciting 6 months Fixed Term position as a Bid Coordinator covering for one of our employees who is due to go on maternity leave. The main purpose of the Bid Coordinator position is to manage the Strategic Bids Pipeline and coordinate bid activity for multiple bids. The individual is required to build and maintain relationships across multiple functions, ensuring that all relevant areas receive the information required for them to complete their part of the process and in return receive outputs to support the overall cost model. The goal is to ensure the on time completion of compliant bids in the appropriate formats and that associated communications are made to both internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that the bid pipeline and bid data packs are maintained to aid reporting on progress to the Senior Management Team. As the Bid Coordinator you will also support in developing the overall bid process, as well as maintaining the bid process documentations and supporting information. About you As Bid Coordinator it is essential that you feel comfortable managing multiple activities at any one time and ensure accuracy and professionalism is at the forefront of your mind at each stage of the process. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential and you must be comfortable hosting face to face or Skype sessions for a small audience. You must be numerically competent, possess good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AS400, have excellent organizational skills, project management experience, be able to prioritise your workload effectively and work to strict deadlines. Managing relationships across multiple departments and at all levels is expected. The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team is also essential.
