We are excited to have been retained to bring to market a dynamic role within a market leading communications provider to the Utilities market place. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience of working in the Utilities sector (Electricity, Water, Oil & Gas) in Electrical distribution. The role will have a large degree of client interaction so a desire and interest to be involved with customers on a regular basis is a must. The primary responsibility of the Technical Presales Consultant is to provide technical support and solutions to existing and new customers across the UK and potentially the whole EMEA region. You will be a key point of contact for both pre and post sales technical advice. Principle Accountabilities: Supporting new clients who might benefit from company solution or services and maximising client potential in designated regions. Developing long term relationships with clients. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education. Providing clients with a solution or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery. Designing custom made solutions for the client Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a solution meets client’s needs. Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Produce, manage and maintain tailored documentation in response to requests for bids and tenders Core skills: A minimum of 5 years' experience operating within the Utilities Sector. Experience of the SCADA & Telemetry technologies (or similar) Degree in Engineering Discipline. Strong Client facing skills. Full clean driving license is essential.
