BASIC: £50,000 - £55,000 OTE: up to £60,000 - £65,000 ADDITIONAL BENEFITS Inc. PERSON REQUIREMENTS - National Account Manager We would welcome applications from experienced and technology savvy National Account Managers with a proven track record of: Developing innovative ways of growing national accounts; challenging the status quo and standard convention to improve sales and margin Understanding National Account Business goals and building strategic plans to achieve targets set Managing field based sales personnel Selling to the national and independent food retail markets would be advantageous but is not a pre requisite Key adjectives to describe you would include, strategic, innovative, persistent, influential, technologically astute and analytical. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Please don’t think you will be alone in doing this; you will be supported by a hands on management team and a comprehensive approach that produces market leading results. JOB DESCRIPTION – National Account Manager We are looking for a passionate and experienced National Account Manager to: Manage relationships with our top tier customer accounts by planning, organising and controlling activities to achieve total revenue and profit goals set. Have direct managerial responsibility for a team of up to three. Negotiate multi-million dollar sales opportunities, understanding the importance of cost mitigation and project creep. Create contact with C-Level customer personnel in an effort to broaden our reach and influence within key accounts. Manage all pricing issues and maintain discounting to acceptable levels. Develop annual plans and complete account profiles on all assigned active accounts. Work with all product lines on enhancements and new product development; marketing programs; sales tools; and pricing strategies related to assigned accounts. Understand National Account business goals and build strategic plans. Sets expectations around our core capabilities. Manage the execution of sale to site installation by coordinating feedback and overall production timelines It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: National Account manager, Retail Account Manager, Regional Account Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Retail, Food Retail, Major National Retailers, and Major Multiples.
