Based on growth, our well established client based in Lichfield is looking to recruit a Programme Manager on a permanent basis. About the Role Run the project on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Project Steering Group within the constraints laid down by them Initiate, plan, monitor, control, execute and close all allocated projects Ensure that all allocated projects are delivered within agreed time and cost constraints Manage quality and risk within agreed tolerances, escalating any real forecasted variances as appropriate Actively seek to identify, engage and manage stakeholders across the society Indirectly manage the project team to ensure delivery Work within the programme manager to ensure that project resource requirements are understood and built into the overall resource plan Identify any skill which are not available within the Society and ensure that these are sourced externally or training is delivered to ensure there is no delay in project delivery Provide leadership to the project team members Work within the stakeholders and subject matter experts to collate functional specifications / invitation’s to tender where required Support the procurement team in the tendering and supplier selection process Manage project budgets, track and collate all projects costs and benefits, ensuring these are reported in the overall Programme Manage Stakeholder expectations at all times throughout the project lifecycle Key Skills and Experience required: Prince 2 Foundation Prince 2 Practitioner Experience in managing MSP programmes Experienced in implementing business development and change High Accountability Build capability Strong Project Management skills; Planning, reporting, risk assessments and people management Previous experience in a Project Management role, Able to lead and communicate Able to work collaboratively with senior colleagues Hours of Work: Monday - Friday - Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 basic Please note; due to the high volume of CV’s we receive if you have not had a response to your application within 5 working days please assume on this occasion you have not been successful.
