New opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer to be based in the Derbyshire area. Salary: Up to £45,000 I am getting in touch today as I have just had a new role sent to me by a long term client based near Swadlincote. My client is a manufacturer of bespoke machinery and require a Control Systems Engineer who is experienced working on full lifecycle projects. The company is a long established manufacturer who has a full order book to the point of requiring multiple new engineers to be able to maintain their high standards of production. Some of the key responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer are: · Development of PLC code, from initial spec through to testing and commissioning · SCADA and HMI screen development · Improvement and streamlining of the program in the office and on site · Work on site to test and commission the system · Some electrical design using AutoCAD or EPlan Ideally you will have : · Experience programming with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs · commissioning and testing experience · Experience working within the material handling sector · HNC in electrical engineering or similar · A very strong technical software background This is a full life cycle role, therefore they will be looking for a candidate who can develop PLC code from scratch, as well as use CAD packages and have commissioning experience. In return, they offer a salary of up to £45,000 which will fluctuate depending on your skill-set and ability. As well as this they offer a considerable amount of overtime where a lot of the current engineers take home over 1.5x their base salary .
