Introduction :

This is an opportunity to join a well-established company designing and manufacturing a wide range of products and systems.

We are a large manufacturer of filament wound GRP tanks up to 300,000 litres capacity by the 'state of the art' machines and used for many applications.

We also design and manufacture pollution control products with a large range of fuel/oil separators, sustainable drainage products for attenuation and flow control, primary settlement tanks with a kit framework contract from Scottish Water, accidental spillage containment systems and more.

Our Special Products Division designs, manufactures and commissions systems including 24/7 automatic monitoring surface water outfalls and containment systems
rainwater harvesting and utilisation systems and package pumping stations from 2,000 - 300,000 litre capacity - 'built off site' with all internal pipework and valves factory fitted and tested.

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help meet our expanding needs, to acquiring a larger customer base and revenue growth targets by keeping our company in the forefront in the industry.

You will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential, initiating sales plans and finally to producing tangible results in turnover and increased company profitability.

Special product and/or field of knowledge:

We are looking for someone with a technical knowledge of pumps, pumping systems and monitoring systems within the water and wastewater industries. To have the ability to calculate and specify against a customer's needs would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
- To coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales objectives and realistic forecasts to the directors.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements:

- Qualification in business administration or a related field an advantage
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
