If you're a site manager with experience working on commercial/office fit out projects, we have a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients. They're still a family owned business, but have enjoyed significant growth to become a well known presence in the West Midlands construction market. They work with clients on national frameworks including developers, governmental departments, retailers, schools/colleges/universities, and charitable trusts amongst others. As a business they offer a full service including design and build; refurbishments, fit outs, new builds, restorations, and framework agreements. Within their commercial interiors team they're looking to add site managers for a large national framework to undertake large-scale commercial fit outs. Projects are up to £10m and include full strip outs and full CAT B fitouts to a medium spec for a large client. Working as a site manager you can expect to undertake the following: RAMS Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed to the letter Managing subcontractors Delivering agreed sections of the fit out Reporting to the site based project manager Quality checks Labour allocation Ordering materials Working with and providing solutions to logistical constraints Quality management Supervising and mentoring assistant managers What we're looking for is people who are passionate about doing things in the right way. You'll need to have the right experience, which is commercial fit outs, and you'll need as a minimum your CSCS, First Aid, and SMSTS. Asbestos Awareness and Face Fit would be preferable but aren't essential. This is for permanent staff so longevity/stable career histories are essential.
