Level 2 Technical Support Analyst
We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Level 2 Support Data Analyst to be based in Tamworth. The role will see the ideal candidate providing high quality technical support to the clients valued customers and to provide guidance on their range of products and services and will be providing database support for a web based application which is housed in SQL. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SQL having used it in a commercial environment previously. Responsibilities: - Writing and running SQL scripts to fix data issues that users have identified as having errors. - Logging user requests - Offering SQL guidance and advise to Level 1 Technicians - Provide customers with product usage and guidance - Collate product enhancement suggestions. Essentials: - A proven track record in a Technical Consultancy/Support role, preferably a software house environment. - SQL Scripting capabilities. - Ability to manage time, prioritise work, work under pressure and complete multiple tasks effectively. - Commercially astute, numerate, with strong analytical ability. - Be competent with project planning using Microsoft Project. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000-2012 - Strong IT skills including experience of Microsoft Windows.
