About the role Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our Plant & Fleet business unit to work in Derby. What you'll be doing As, Fire Alarm Technician, you will: Carry out planned and organised daily work Ensure all work is completed in the allocated month Carry out Fire Protection Survey Reports for each job as required Provide suggestions for improvement of practices within the Company Undertake call outs to fire alarms as and when required Who we're looking for You will have: A full clean UK driving licence and be able to travel throughout the UK with overnight stay as and when required A high level of professionalism and aptitude to manage complaint resolution The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure The ability to work on own initiative and within a team Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Full awareness of current technical and safety standards within the fire industry Why work for us Day in, day out, our teams deliver amazing projects in challenging conditions; developing, managing and maintaining the vital infrastructure and public spaces that modern economies, societies and communities rely on.
