Position: 1st Line Multilingual Service Desk support - French/German/Swedish/Finnish Salary: £17,000 PA Start Date: ASAP Location: Derby A well-established IT support service provider is looking to recruit a team of Multilingual Service Desk Support Technicians to support their international clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior infrastructure support technician to join a market leading organisation. Your duties will include but will not be limited to; - Providing level 1 technical support & service desk support via phone and remote log in. - Logging all calls into the ticket management system to ensure the correct ticket management process is used. - Escalate issues when necessary. - Working with international users to resolve technical issues. - Supporting technologies such as MS Office 2007, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. - Hardware diagnostics using HP and Dell management suites. - Printer installations and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have the following experience; - Basic Network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, general internet and network connectivity) - Will be fluent to a professional standard in one of the following languages: German/French/Swedish/Finnish - Excellent customer service skills and have worked in a call centre/ support environment previously.
