PWR specialises in motorsport cooling applications and supplies leading race teams all over the world including Formula 1, NASCAR, V8 Supercars, BTCC, WRC, Dakar plus high end OEM and the automotive aftermarket. Exponential growth at PWR has opened up an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic and professional Business Development Manager looking for the next step in their career. The Business Development Manager is a senior management position within PWR Europe and directly reports to the General Manager. This role is primarily focused on identifying long term business opportunities within the Professional Motorsport, Niche OEM and "Tier 1" supply chain and secure profitable, long term business. Highlights of your role as BDM - Sourcing, Identifying and closing major opportunities for business growth within the Motorsport and OEM sectors; - Creating and delivering dynamic, innovative and effective company presentations; - Travel throughout the UK and Europe; - Attending trade shows and motorsport events to promote the business to the market; - Working with customers and our engineering team to identify and resolve any performance issues on event. Demonstrated skills and characteristics: - A commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles/techniques; - Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; - Good engineering and mechanical knowledge and understanding is required- Engineering qualifications are preferable; - A multi-lingual applicant is preferred but not essential, (ideally German and/or French); - Ability to work with and influence customers technical, commercial and financial representatives to deliver optimised business solutions; - Ensure planning is future focused and decisions are data driven with measurable outcomes; - Forecasting and the development of sales pipelines to ensure continued growth; - A pragmatic "down to earth" approach to your work and an ability to adapt, be flexible and think on your feet; - Must hold a full UK driving licence; and - Personal contacts within the motorsport industry would be an advantage.
