Our client has been manufacturing high quality pressure instruments for over 75 years. The product range has been extended over this period and now manufactures Pressure Gauges, Temperature Gauges, Pressure Switches and Pressure Transducers and right now, they are looking to recruit an ambitious, smart and motivated individual to join the team as a Sales Account Manager and develop their career and work in a friendly and busy North Birmingham office.

Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful candidate will have a primary responsibility of liaising with current customers and developing new customers within the UK in line with the company’s overall objectives. Although office based the role may lead to customer visits to assist with account development.

Where necessary training will include instruction on products, communication, preparation and completion of sales data bases, and all aspects of the sales office.

The client is looking for individuals with a can-do attitude who possess the following competencies:

  • Well presented
  • Excellent Communication
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships
  • Customer Orientated
  • Ability to work in a team and on an individual basis
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Engineering Qualification preferable although not essential, formal training may be offered
  • Clean Driving Licence essential

Salary will be dependent on experience.
