Role Overview: The Digital Product Definition (DPD) Data Migration Project Manager initiates and manages data migration project and activities as part of the DPD Programme. Work collaboratively with IT, engineering, IT vendors and the business readiness team to ensure project delivery at cost, schedule, scope and benefits. Job Summary: Prime Responsibilities: - Initiating Data Migration requirements gathering as part of the DPD projects working - Providing project oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project leads, team members and stakeholders - Providing visibility to the team of the validation required to pass the Engineering quality gates and ensuring compliance with the Engineering PMO procedures - Ensuring that projects are formally closed with all project documentation stored appropriately. - Ensuring project lessons learned are conducted and actioned Secondary: - Completion of project gate zero - Attending regular programme and project review meetings - Ensuring assigned projects are prepared for gate reviews - Ensuring assigned projects manage scope following the change request process - Ensuring assigned projects are providing project information in PMIS - Leading the development of the charter, business benefits case, mandate, high level requirements catalogue and IT scheme - Providing project communications until handover to the IT project manager - Ensuring project risk management is undertaken and high level risk and escalations are transferred to the programme risk register - Defining preliminary environment requirements to support the design phase of the project Skills: - Project Management methods - planning, risk and issue management, etc - · Team Centre Data Migration - eQube toolset knowledge would be an advantage - People, communication and influencing skills - Writing technical documentation - Business process understanding - Ability to recognise and articulate the technical dependencies within the capability, and across projects - Technical knowledge of the PLM toolset, specifically Team Centre - Technical knowledge of the legacy PLM toolset - Understanding of data management principles Understanding of the DPD support processes - Understanding of usage of common product features across Product Lifecycle - Team management, communications skills Key Relationships: - PLM Project Technical Leads - Business Implementation leads - PLM Consultancy Group - Technical Authorities from other Businesses - CTO - Purchasing - Supplier PMs Desired Skills: - Good Communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills - Customer Focus - Ability to build and develop Customer & Supplier relationships - Organisational Agility - Problem solving ability - Logical Thinking - Effective Time management - Result driven DISCLAIMER: Due to the nature of work candidates should be UK citizen/ EU Citizen/ Valid work permit holder.
