The Role : Junior Accountant job in Stoke-On-Trent for an AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified accountant who is currently working in a public practice accountancy firm. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a Junior Accountant with some initial experience wishing to complete their studies within a supportive and people focused environment.  The Employer: This independently owned Staffordshire based accountancy practice has a reputation for client service excellence. An award-winning accountancy firm who pride themselves on staff retention and have supported many accountants through their studies over several years. They provide a range of accounting services including Accounts, Audit, Taxation advice/planning and Payroll services, plus Corporate Finance and Financial Services.  The main responsibilities of the Junior Accountant will include;  - Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP's & Charities  - VAT Returns  - Bookkeeping and Payroll  - Assisting with tax computations, both personal and corporate  - Liaising with HMRC  - Arranging client meetings  - Assisting Semi Senior Accountants and Senior Accountants  - Assisting in the management of client files  The perfect Junior Accountant would be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified accountant with experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm where they have undertaken a range of general accounting duties.  Suited ideally towards a Junior Accountant looking to progress their career within an established accountancy firm that will provide both study support and a structured training environment. High standards of written and spoken communication are required. along with technical ability.
