[URL removed] [URL removed] Support Technician The role involves supporting our customers with their use of catalogues containing product information and pricing within our market leading desktop application. The key function of the catalogue team is to produce electronic catalogues for use in the software. Working as a team member, you will be responsible for maintaining proactive working relationships with kitchen and bathroom manufacturers, distributors and software users as well as dealing with their reactive support requests. Troubleshooting and administration of error fixes are also a key elements of this busy role. The role is essentially customer service focused and so telephone experience, an excellent telephone manner as well as strong administrative ability are essential. Experience of using email to communicate effectively as required. You will need to be IT literate, familiar with recent Windows operating systems with a good working knowledge of MS Excel, including the use of formulae. You will need to be literate, numerate and have good keyboard skills as well as be able to learn new software systems quickly. Key Responsibilities Maintaining departmental key service levels and targets Handling telephone and email enquiries from customers, troubleshooting, following up with third parties and making corrections where required. Testing and checking catalogues prior to publishing. Chasing and following up key suppliers for new and updated catalogue information. Investigating and resolving pricing and product information queries. Scheduling of work for the team to work on.
