Overview: This is a wonderful opportunity for a technical or administration focussed team player to join our small and professional marketing and bids team who provide business development support to COWI in the UK, based in our Business Support office in Uttoxeter. This position would suit someone who possesses an English or technical degree who is seeking to utilise their proven writing and presentation skills within a professional environment, assisting the team to produce attractive and working wining documents. Requirements: knowledge, personal skills and experience required: - You will possess either an English or Technical / Engineering degree with a high standard of written English - Honed administrative skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines - Ability to work effectively within a team environment, working close with engineers extracting relevant project information - You will be highly motivated, energetic with a passion for quality - Strong skills in MS Office - Excellent communications skills with the ability to operate at all levels of the organisation - Creative mind with the ability to proof read and pay attention to detail - Committed team worker as well as comfortable working independently Role Summary: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be accountable for assisting the team in the preparation of work winning documents including: project reference sheets, capability statements and bid submission documents, ensuring quality standards are adhered to and tight deadlines are achieved. You will also assist in creating other marketing materials Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist the Marketing Manager and Bids and Tender Administrator in supporting the business streams and project teams in the preparation of documentation for bids and tenders - Respond to vendor/assessment questionnaires and maintain the database - Co-ordinate the revision of CVs and provide a quality control function - Assist in the production of quality documents including project reference sheets, capability statements and bid submission documents - Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities. - Work with the team and assist in the coordination of marketing content for branded items - Help produce marketing communications, such as flyers, brochures and exhibition-related paraphernalia - Assist with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy - Respond clearly and promptly to email and telephone requests from across the business - Work with colleagues and project teams based in various locations including London, Bristol, Derby, Glasgow, Uttoxeter, York, Copenhagen and Hong Kong Remuneration & Benefits COWI UK Limited is an equal opportunities employer and believe in rewarding our staff for their commitment and hard work.
