Change Management Specialist (DPD)
The Change Management Specialist (DPD) - Derby We have an requirement for a Digital Product Definition (DPD) The Change Management Specialist initially for a 12 month contract, for a leader in mechatronic engineering services and solutions who partner with the most trusted names in Aero Engines, Aerospace & Defence to deliver solutions across the complete product life cycle, in the fastest and most valuable manner, spanning complex systems, platforms and products. This role will be based in their facilities in Derby. Role: The Change Management Specialist (DPD) will Consolidate and coordinate the change requirements and manage the communications to ensure smooth transition from "As-Is" to "To-be" workflows. Responsibilities: The Change Management Specialist (DPD) will: - Coordinate, customise and administer TeamCentre Change Manager in line with DPD objectives and road map - Mapping "as-is" and "to-be" processes in consultation with DPD Project Manager and technical specialists - Define the steps including identification of gaps and support required to close the gaps - Document and publish guides to use new process - Define users, organisation and the roles - control actions of participants through defined conditions - Work with stakeholders to identify issues and define solutions or workarounds in consultation with Technical Specialists - Create workflows as per the DPD requirements for Change Management - Maintain a log of issues and solutions and report out on a periodic basis - Utilise the ALM application for all test & defect management. - Escalate technical issues for resolution to the Solution Lead and/or DPD Project Manager(s). - Identification and update/generate the project specific Rolls-Royce documentation (e.g. Test Script(s), Solution Document(s), Functional Requirements Specification(s)) Experience and Skills: - Change management including communication and expectations management of key stakeholders - People, communication and influencing skills - Writing technical documentation - Business process understanding - Ability to recognise and articulate the technical dependencies within the capability, and across projects - Technical knowledge of the PLM toolset - Technical knowledge of the legacy PLM toolset - Understanding of data management principles Understanding of the DPD support processes - Experience in workflows and revision management within Teamcenter Rate - Negotiable dependent upon experience.
