Lettings Duty Manager – Fixed Term 1 year Grade 3 (£17,987)

We believe in placing people firmly at the centre of our student-focused accommodation service, and you will work with an enthusiastic team, helping connect with our members by ensuring that their living experience whilst at University is delivered to the highest of standards.

This role provides a range of support and advice to prospective and existing students on all aspects of living in the student accommodation at Poulson House and London House. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality service to students and to be responsive to the diverse needs of our student population. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing and developing a team of staff that is committed, responsive and customer-focussed. The successful applicant will need excellent organisational, time-management, communication and interpersonal skills. 

Your skills, attitude and organisational ability are paramount. Experience of higher education and of managing student accommodation is desirable, but not essential, as training and development will be provided.

This is a one year fixed term, full time position. The Union operates annualised hours contracts. Over a year the successful candidate will work 1687 hours and have 244 hours holiday which is equivalent to 7 weeks. The hours of work will include weekends (this can be discussed further at interview as the organisation is flexible on working hours).
