The main responsibilities of this exciting role are as follows:

- Developing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the service delivery plans to ensure delivery of HR services across the business to include staff benefits, pensions, private medical insurance, company cars and payroll.
- Working closely with HR colleagues to review and improve existing HR practices, processes and systems.
- Leading, developing and motivating the HR Service Delivery team to ensure delivery of high quality and efficient HR services to staff and that the team continuously develop their capabilities and experience.
- Managing a network of suppliers/partners to ensure delivery of consistent, effective and quality expertise in line with business requirements.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to HR and Business leaders on how people related services, processes, procedures and systems can be optimised to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Driving the development and production of management information, analysis and reporting that supports and informs timely and effective business decision making.
- Monitoring HR service delivery performance against agreed plans, objectives and budgets, and work with the HR Leadership team to agree actions to address any performance issues and/or capitalise on opportunities.
- Leading the development and maintenance of an effective control framework to identify, minimise and manage people related risks including complying with legal and/or regulatory requirements.
- Developing and managing effective relationships with internal stakeholders, regional and local customer groups, to ensure the HR services support the delivery of the business's people and commercial objectives.

Interested applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Experience of developing HR systems and processes across a business that relate to benefits and payroll.
- Experience of developing and successful delivery of strategic priorities and plans
- Experience of sourcing and negotiating supplier / partnership arrangements
- Experience of leading and developing a team

Due to the location of our client's site, it is advisable for applicants to possess access to their own transport. The role may also involve travel to multiple UK sites
