Scope of Position - We are looking for a flexible and reliable Nursery Nurse (several positions are available) to join our Wolverhampton Relief staff team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs. Our relief staff are important members of the team, who help to provide continuity in the event of staff sickness, annual leave and during staff planning time.

The working hours for this position are variable as required, between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday.


Essential - A minimum recognised level two childcare qualification

Desirable - A recognised level three childcare qualification; Any professional related qualification (Foundation Degree, EYPS, EYTS); Basic Food Hygiene; Paediatric First Aid


Essential - Knowledge and experience of delivering the EYFS

Desirable - Post qualifying experience within a private day nursery setting; Experience of Ofsted Inspections; Working with children with Special Educational Needs


No child related criminal convictions; Commitment to Shooting Stars Nurseries
