Job Purpose and Scope:

Works as part of the Central Services team undertaking necessary tasks to maintain the performance of the core server infrastructure within all schools and Project commissions. Driving licence and own transport.

To undertake these tasks in a motivated manner, performance driven and focused on producing excellent results.

• Provide assistance to support internal systems and perform hardware troubleshooting and repair on core server and storage infrastructure
• Provide /third line technical assistance and problem solving techniques to support software suites and networking environment across all sites supported by Lend Lease Technology
• Work with internal and external parties to troubleshoot and resolve ICT problems.
• Assist with technical design and implementation of server and network services including hardware and software as required.
• Manage and respond to incidents and requests via call logging systems
• Maintain user documentation, procedures and libraries for installed products
• Monitor and track fixes, patches and upgrades
• Management and maintenance of operational systems utilising tools and monitoring systems
• Assurance of asset management database and other core data
• Support and assist in managing on-site deployment tasks/activities, as required, as part of a project delivery team
• Provide input into overarching ICT strategy for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with and manage 3rd party suppliers and partners as required to deliver the required solutions.

• Proven experience of Server builds, maintenance and support
• Current VCP holder
• Administrator level knowledge & experience of virtualisation technologies e.g. VMWare
• Administrator level knowledge & experience of MS Server 2012, Active Directory, Windows etc
• Administrator level knowledge & understanding of storage technologies (SAN / NAS etc).
• Proven experience of Office 365 and Office 365 migrations
• Experience of networking concepts, implementation and support
• Proven experience of deploying federation services (E.g. ADFS)
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good documentation skills
• The ability to work in a team and as an individual
• The ability to follow a structured approach to service management
• Ability to lead and motivate
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
• In-depth knowledge of change and service management


• MCSE or equivalent qualifications
• Knowledge of the ICT role in delivering the education curriculum
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
