Being a support worker isn't just about making day to day life great, it's about creating days that are spectacular! Each day will be different but on a spectacular day you can expect going to the cinema, singing songs, buying new stationary, acting Cupid with one of their girlfriends or even going for a walk in the beautiful countryside. Creating spectacular days is just one of the amazing parts of being a support worker.
The people we support have created one page profiles for you to read (see additional information) so you can get an idea about how to support them.
Support workers must be flexible in the hours they can work, as support can be required 24 hours a day. You will work on a rota basis throughout the week, weekends and bank holidays with sleep-ins as well.
One of the most amazing things about being a Support Worker is that anyone can do it! As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
