Staffordshire Victim Gateway is a new and exciting addition to Citizens Advices portfolio of services that supports victims of crime and is commissioned by Staffordshire's Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
The service provides information, advice and or practical and emotional support to victims of crime helping them cope and recover from their experience and exercise their rights under the Victims Code, even if they have not reported the crime to the police.
We are looking to recruit 2 Telephone Assessors to join our team
The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting all victims of crime referred to the service by Staffordshire Police and respond to third party or self-help referrals directly from victims.
As an Assessor you will complete an assessment of the victims needs and provide immediate and follow up information, advice and emotional support.
Hours: 21 hours (3 days) per week are available at the Hanley Office on a permanent contract and 30 hours (4 days) maternity cover.
Starting salary:£16,781 p.a. (full time), £13,424 p.a. (pro rata 30 hours), £9,397 p.a. (pro rata 21 hours)
