They now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team based in Wednesbury where you will ensure that the relationship with the customer is maintained to a high standard and that there is an accurate data management of customer records at all times.

Delighting your customers through pro-active account management and answering all telephone calls in a professional manner, you will take personal responsibility for ensuring all necessary actions are taken in response to specific problems and requests, and will persist with lines of communication or escalations until a satisfactory conclusion is achieved. Maintaining effective communication with the customer on all agreed actions and communicating with other departments as required, you will seek out opportunities to improve Customer Care and achieve Service Excellence.

The role involves raising detailed and accurate call logs in response to customer contact and circulating them as necessary, whilst ensuring all new accounts are set up in accordance with company guidelines and that the requirements of the Data Protection Act are adhered to. Generating reports and letters and ensuring all daily customer requirements are received and actioned, you will discuss overdue invoices with customers and agree resolutions whilst identifying any added value opportunities and passing this to the sales team.

They are looking for someone who is highly customer focussed and has previous experience of working in a customer service environment. With excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to build good customer relationships, you will be PC literate as well as having a high attention to detail. Being flexible and having an ability to react quickly to customer needs, they are looking for someone who is patient and polite, whilst being able to make decisions.
