Customer Service Advisor - 6 months maternity cover

£17,737 pro rata + benefits

Our client has over 400 employees operating out of various locations throughout the UK. In order to maintain their excellent service they rely on the quality of the people who work for them and their people are fundamental to the company's overall success.

They are now recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to be responsible for all Contact Centre support to the company's customer base on a 6 month maternity cover contract.

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, as a Customer Service Advisor you will engage with jobseekers and employers on a regular basis to validate periods of employment for registered jobseekers, with your day to day duties including:

  • Make calls to jobseekers and employers to identify and validate periods of employment gained during the jobseekers time on programme
  • Maintain a structured approach when communicating with the customers and the employers in developing and establishing a good rapport, via email, phone, or face-to-face contact
  • Monitor and record the employment status of the customer and track any changes where required, while constantly reviewing and updating any changes onto the relevant system
  • Identify and follow through on potential leads
  • Maintain relevant IT systems and produce accurate and timely management information
  • Support the Company's sales strategy by promoting initiatives including Work Based Learning to customers and employers
  • Provide support and expert guidance on any work-related queries, escalating any employment concerns in accordance with key processes and procedures
  • Any other related duties as required by the business objectives
