This Community Interest Company (CIC) provides access to finance for local people who are financially excluded from obtaining finance from mainstream institutions such as Banks and Building Societies. They also work with a number of business to provide back-office support and software services.

They are recruiting for an ambitious and target driven collections officer who has a professional approach and excellent communication skills both verbal and written, you will need to demonstrate attention to detail and concentrate on a high volume caseload and be required to resolve contentious issues and negotiate debt settlements at all levels.

You will be working as part of a team using a range of communication methods to ensure that KPi targets are met, this is a good opportunity for an individual seeking a role in a company which offers development and progression. The engagement is subject to a satisfactory Credit Reference Search.

Previous experience within a collections negotiator/collections environment is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.

Typical Duties will include:

- Inbound/outbound calls contacting customers in arrears.
- Conducting casework and arranging payment plans with customers.
- Working with internal departments to co-ordinate debt recovery.
- Using in-house systems and processes accurately and effectively.
- Ensure all contact is in accordance with their policies and regulatory requirements
- This is a target driven role where you will be required to work both independently and within a team

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday (35 hours).
Pension: Company Pension Scheme
Holidays: 33 days per annum including statutory holidays
